HOW DID COMPANIES GET THROUGH THE PANDEMIC? FINDINGS FROM THE BUNDESBANK'S COMPANY SURVEY

How has the pandemic affected businesses in Germany? What benefits did the aid and economic stimulus packages have? Knowledge available at an early stage on the current situation of companies is very valuable for economic and monetary policy, especially during the monetary policy. This allows the economic consequences of the pandemic and the effect of the measures taken to contain it to be assessed and evaluated in a timely manner. The Bundesbank therefore used its new survey of companies to make corresponding assessments from the companies‘ point of view.

In this presentation, important results from the Bundesbank’s survey of companies will be with a view to the economic consequences of the pandemic.
